Messick\nWorkshop Limit: 10 people\n \nGardens and nature lovers delight. Capture beautiful shots and learn how to use available light effectively in flower and nature photography. \n Karen L. Messick leads this photography workshop at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens in Washington DC on Friday\, July 16 from 7:00-11:00 AM. Learn how to capture beautiful images and get the best possible results from your photo equipment. You’ll enjoy photographing dew laden lotus blossoms\, colorful water lilies\, and many natural subjects\, such as Great Blue Herons and dragon flies. \n The following equipment is recommended: a tripod\, a telephoto/zoom lens in the 300mm range\, a macro lens or a lens with macro capability to get close-ups of blooms\, a polarizing filter\, and a reflector to bounce light into the flowers. \n Wear suitable footwear (since it’s wet\, sandals aren’t recommended)\, a hat\, long sleeve shirt\, long pants and bug spray.\n We will meet at the Visitor Center just inside the gardens. \n For more information about the park visit\, http://www.nps.gov/keaq/\n Questions about this workshop can be directed to penntraining@penncamera.com\nClass Cancellation Policy: Full credit towards another class will be awarded if cancellation notice is given more than 5 business days from the scheduled class.
